Houblon-Norman and George fellowships are awarded to engage in full-time research on an economic or financial topic of ones. choice, preferably one that could be studied with particular advantage at the Bank of England. The length of the appointment, by agreement with successful applicants, will not normally be less than one month, or longer than one year. The Fellowship will be tenable at the -Bank of England; successful candidates will be j provided with office accommodation, secretarial and other j necessary support services (subject to certain conditions).
Requirements: Senior Fellowships will be open to candidates of all nationalities who are distin¬guished research workers with established reputation in their field. Fellowships are also available for younger post-doctoral or equivalent applicants (preference to British and I other EU nationals}.
