OFFER OF ITALIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP 20074-2005
Applications in duplicate addressed to the Section Officer , ES.5.Section, Ministry of Human Resource Develpoment, Department Of Secondary & Higher Education , A-2/W-4 Curzon Road Barracks, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi - 110 001 on the prescribed format are invited for the following scholarships offered by the Government of Italy for the academic year ,2004-2005:-
CATEGORY “A” Three scholarships of six months duration each to pursue the Level V (Superior) course of Italian languag at the University for Foreigners, Perugia (from 1st July to 23 rd December, 2005)
Eligibility :-
1. Graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
2. Possession of diploma of Level IV from the University for Foreigners, Perugia , Italy
3. Age not to exceed 45 years as on 31st May 2004.
CATEGORY “B” Six scholarships of three months duration each to pursue Level IV(Advanced) course of Italian Language at the University for Foreigners, Perugia (from 1st July to 30th September, 2005)
Eligibility :-
1. Graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
2. Possession of diploma of Level III from the University for Foreigners, Perugia , Italy
3. Age not to exceed 45 years as on 31st May 2004.
CATEGORY “C” Six scholarships of three months duration each to pursue Level III (Intermediate) course of Italian language at the University for Foreigners, Perugia (from 1st July to 30 September , 2005)
CATEGORY “D” Five scholarships of two months duration each to pursue supplementary (Basic) course of Italian language at the University for Foreigners, Perugia (from 2nd May to 30 June, 2005)
Eligibility for Category “C” and “D” :-
1. Graduate or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
2. Good knowledge of Italian 3. Proof of lnowledge of Italian language (certificte or diploma)mandatory. 3. Age not to exceed 45 years as on 31st May 2004.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
Selected candidates will get an amount of Euro 619.75 per month as scholarship amount. The above mentioned amount is inclusive of stay in Italy as well as the course fee, which is reduced to 50% for all scholarships holders.
No international travel cost to and fro Italy or local travel cost while in Italy for any Category of the above Scholarships will be paid either by the Government of India. Therefore, an undertaking to the effect that the International travel cost to and fro Italy and local passage while in Italy (if any) will be borne by the candidates or his/her employers/sponsors should also be submited along with the application.
LAST DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPLICATION
Last date of receipt of applications at the address given above is 31st May, 2004(5.30 P.M.). Application receoved thereafter will not be considered . Application can also be downloaded from the Department’s website www.education.nic.in Online applications may be accepted provided hard copy of the application alongwith enclosures ( attested copies of certificates, marks-sheet ect) reach the Ministry within one week of last date of receipt of application.
