Pune University PG Courses, Syllabus of Master of Business Administration (MBA),Semester-IV-408 Project Report

Each student shall have to undergo a practical training for a period of not less than 50 days during the vacation at the end of First Year.

Based on actual training during the vacation, the student shall write a project report on the topic selected under the guidance of an internal teacher and submit the same to the Director of the institute before the end of Semester III. The Project Report shall be assessed by the Internal Teacher. It is only on the basis of a certificate of the concerned teacher that the project report has been satisfactorily completed, that the student would be allowed to appear for the examination of the Second Year. The project work will carry 40 marks and on the basis of the project submitted by the student, there will an internal viva-voce at the end of Second Year carrying 60 marks. Such viva-voce shall be conducted by a panel of three referees, out of which two referees will be external. Such external referees shall be selected by the individual institute. Such external referees should possess the following qualifications –

a. Master’s degree of a recognized University or professional qualifications like ACA, AICWA or ACS with at least 5 years teaching or professional experience

or

b. Diploma of a recognized University/Board with at least 7 years professional experience related to the given subject.

The project report is to be prepared by the student and two typed copies are to be submitted to the Director of the institute before 30th September. The report will be duly assessed by the internal teacher of the subject and the marks will be communicated by the Director to the University before the commencement of Semester IV Examination, along with the marks for internal evaluation for all other papers. No student will be permitted to appear for Semester IV Examination unless he/she submits the project as required.
